Workshop on Ecosystem Accounts

In January 2024 a workshop on Ecosystem Accounting (SEEA EA) was held at the Czech Statistical Office as part of the Czech Presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4). The workshop was attended not only by representatives from the V4 countries, but also from Germany and Estonia. At the workshop, country representatives exchanged information on the status and development of SEEA EA accounts in their countries and gained valuable advice on how to work on these accounts. From CzechGlobe, the meeting was attended by Davina Vačkářová, who reported on ecosystem service assessments to support ecosystem accounting in the Czech Republic, and Eva Horváthová, who spoke about economic valuation of ecosystem services. We would like to thank all the participants for a beneficial meeting and especially the Czech Statistical Office for organising this meeting.
